You and your family are invited to join Raley’s and Milk-Bone for a special service dog donation at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 9 at the Raley’s at 5420 Sunol Blvd.
Through the Canine Assistants program, Raley’s and Milk-Bone have partnered to provide a service dog to Rosa Zuno, a local 16-year-old teenager with Epilepsy. Rosa will be welcomed to the Canine Assistants family by a certified trainer and introduced to a representative service dog. Canine Assistants is a non-profit organization that provides service dogs to people with various disabilities, at no cost to the recipient.
Rosa hopes in the bonding process her new service dog will begin to alert her to oncoming seizures giving her the opportunity to find a safe location while her seizure takes place. She also looks forward to the constant companionship her new “best friend” will offer!
We welcome you to attend this community event, enjoy refreshments, meet Rosa and her family, and learn more about service dogs and how they enhance the quality of life of those they serve.
To learn more about this event, please contact Raley’s (5420 Sunol Blvd.) at 925-846-4471.
